Subnautica leviathan ghost12/25/2023 ![]() They are biolumiscent and have 4 glowing eyes to track anything in the dark depths. They also can go closest to the surface in the void, since they will jump out of the water if you are on the surface. ![]() ![]() The deepest point they go to are the adults in the void which can follow you 1700m to try and stop you from going further in the crater edge. Their nickname is The predator of the deep and they stick deep in the caves of 4546B 's tropics. They ussualy prefer to eat some of the medium sized creatures in their region, like ghost rays, jelly rays and river prowlers. As the name says, the ghost leviathans are transparent and you can see their organs which is also the same case on the other fauna that live at the same regions. The ghost leviathan(extremely dangerous and nasty)a juvenile is in the lost river and the grand reef and the adults are found the void. It's head somewhat looks like a hammer head shark 's skull. If it successfully attacks, it will do 55 % as a juvenile and 84% as and adult damage to the player then swim some distance away, as if losing interest. When charging, it will open up its mouth and make a loud, echoing screech. To attack a target, it will spiral up and charge. Six Ghost Leviathans spawn on the map, not counting the three found in the crater's edge: three juveniles in the Lost River, two adults in the Grand Reef, and one adult in the Northern Blood Kelp Zone. The juvenile ghost levaithan is 67m long and the adult is a massive 105m. ![]() The Crabsquid frequently emits loud clicking sounds.I have been watching the behavior of the ghost leviathan in the lost river and I learned every bit of information i could need. Crabsquids are also among the few creatures that can damage a Cyclops: while the damage they deal is fairly low and it takes repeated hits to achieve hull damage, their EMP attack still works on the vehicle and its low speed can make it tricky to get away. If the player approaches the Crabsquid in the Seamoth within its line of sight, the creature will chase the submersible a short distance and attack, with each hit taking off 20% of the vehicle's health. If a vehicle is affected by the EMP, its on-board Oxygen production will temporarily cease. In terms of game mechanics, this temporarily reduces the charge of any Battery or Power Cell affected to 0%: after a short time, it will be restored to its original level. The electromagnetic pulses are emitted as a highly concentrated ring-shape of green-colored electricity. The Prawn Suit is particularly susceptible to Crabsquid attacks as it is the only vehicle that cannot turn off its lights. Crabsquids also will physically attack light sources (such as vehicles and seabases) by slashing them with their legs. These factors makes it ill-advised to build near an area inhabited by Crabsquids or leave vehicles near Crabsquids. If light is shone at a Crabsquid they will retaliate with an EMP blast, temporarily disabling electronics, vehicles and Seabase power. However, using a vehicle's light will usually end up with the Crabsquid disabling it. Similar to the Boneshark, the Crabsquid is attracted to light and will follow certain light sources, meaning that it can be distracted using lights from the Cyclops, Seamoth, Prawn Suit, Seaglide, Flashlight or Flares. It can also be observed catching and eating smaller fauna, and attacking Warpers. Upon being approached, the creature will launch an attack, dealing 40 damage to the player. The Crabsquid swims by continuously inflating and deflating its transparent membrane, allowing for sudden bursts of movement, however it can also walk around on the seabed using its two sets of four legs. ![]() The two shortest limbs near its mouth form a pair of comparably small pincers of which it uses to attack by raising its legs. Its ten limbs are brown-colored and smooth. The Crabsquid's legs resemble those of a horseshoe crab, though tipped with small fins. Like the Reapers, Ghosts can be relocated if they chase you into a different biome, though they should make their way home eventually. They can be found in two biomes within the Crater, with two in the Grand Reef and one in the Northwest Blood Kelp Zone. The Crabsquid's head consists of four, large blue eyes with black pupils and an oddly shaped mandible below them. Adult Ghost Leviathans, thankfully, are quite few in number. The Crabsquid's main body has two layers: a translucent, bulbous sac resembling a comb jellyfish's body, and a hard brown green body within, similar to that of a real life squid's mantle. ![]()
